Empowering Tomorrow, Today.

Health Initiatives

At the Little Feet Foundation, we’re dedicated to advancing health outcomes in Northern Ghana. We proudly offer complimentary health screenings, medical consultations, and essential medications to health centers that are in dire need. Our health initiatives are led by a passionate team of volunteer doctors from cities like Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, and Bolgatanga. They’re supported by our foundation’s nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals.

Every year, we conduct screenings for various ailments, including respiratory tract infections, skin disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, malnutrition, malaria, and hepatitis B. Recognizing that each community has its unique health challenges, our screenings are tailored based on the latest research and the specific needs of every community. A significant initiative in 2021 saw us collaborating with the Embassy of Switzerland to Ghana, Togo, and Benin.

This partnership was aimed at eradicating malnutrition, and as part of this endeavor, we empowered parents from certain communities with knowledge on preparing nutritious meals using locally sourced produce like maize, groundnuts, millet, and local rice.

Educational Initiatives

At the Little Feet Foundation, we recognize the crucial role education plays in shaping futures. Our dedication to ensuring every child has the tools for academic success is evident in our robust donation campaigns. Through these efforts, countless children receive essential educational materials, from stationery to school uniforms and footwear, enabling them to remain in school.

These initiatives primarily target students at risk of leaving school due to a lack of basic educational resources. For the past 8 years, our consistent support has played a pivotal role in aiding students to continue their education, thereby reducing the dropout rate. We firmly believe that with the right resources, no child should be left behind in their educational journey.

Socio-Economic Initiatives

At the Little Feet Foundation, our commitment extends beyond health and education. We believe in empowering individuals to uplift themselves economically. To this end, we have designed initiatives that focus on imparting valuable skills to teenage mothers, widows, and parents of the students we support. Through specialized programs, we provide training in areas such as soap making, bead crafting, drink production, and pastry creation.

The intent behind these projects is twofold: to equip these individuals with avenues for income generation, and to ensure sustainability. By enabling parents to earn independently, we hope to fortify their financial resilience. In times when external support might wane, the skills they’ve acquired can be the bedrock that ensures their children’s needs are consistently met.
